Membership Information

With your membership you are supporting our effort to provide privacy enhancing internet services for the general public in the long run.

Members get invited to our irregular meetings via their provided email address.

Types of Memberships

There are 3 types of memberships:

1) Proper Membership

To become a proper member you have to be a supporting member (2) for at least 4 months.

Proper members have active and passive voting rights.

2) Supporting Membership

Supporting members are individuals supporting the cause and getting actively involved.

3) Financially supporting Membership

Financially supporting members are legal entities or individuals who regularly donate and explicitly ask to become a financially supporting member.

Membership Fee

The membership fee can be freely choosen but the minimal amount is 70 euro per calendar year. For students: 50 Euro / year.

The same fee applies to all types of memberships.

Becoming a Member

If you would like to get involved or even if you would like to support us financially you can become a member by sending us the completed text below to contact(at)appliedprivacy.net

Please send the email from the address you want to use with us in the future.

I did read the (german) statutes and would like to become a member of the Foundation for
Applied Privacy (ZVR: 1254016365).

You will then get an email from us with information on how you can pay the membership fee. Once we received your payment your membership is active.
